Elegant Events had the opportunity to do a unique and a oh so fun wedding at the end of May. It was on private property with an acrylic dance floor covering a huge hollywood 1930s style pool and a 116X66' clear span tent over it. There was a remarkable view that showcased red, white and blue fireworks later in the evening. A band from Nashville entertained the crowd all night and they were truly outstanding! Wedding party arrives in a trolley and guests in buses. They were dropped at the bottom of the drive by a lovely lake with A fiddler playing. Guests picked up a monogramed mason jars with their seat assignment attached and then enjoyed an Old Fashion while waiting for golf carts to take them up the drive to the pool. A 16x10' American flag was custom built for this wedding to be used as a back drop for the band and a vocal point for the entire event. This family is all about America. The couple met while serving in Afghanistan. The evening ended with a sparklers exit and the crowd chanting USA! A 1940s red pickup truck awaited the couple as the jumped in the back on a hay bail and were driving away! The perfect ending to one of the most fun weddings I have had the honor to be apart of. And of course it was Memorial Day weekend!
